With an micro-engineering background from the EPFL, Damien has completed the MoT program in 2001. After creating and managing a start-up for 4 years, he has since been working in the Swiss watch-making industry to improve industrial process transparency and efficiency.

Damien has been the Financial Officer of the MoT AA during the 2009/10 period and has accepted the challenge of the position of President for 2010/11.

2009/10 was an exciting year as the association was resuscitated and saw a record participation of MoTies in the different events that were organised. Damien`s main goal is therefore to maintain this trend by increasing the MoTies` interest in the association, through further networking opportunities in different regions of Switzerland and communication.

Currently a student in the Executive MBA MOT programme 2010, Kevin is an technology and product development executive with more than 15 years experience. Kevin believes in the value of networking and continuing education, and is a true MoTee. He plans to maintain and enhance the MoT technology platform to further support the goals of the MoT Alumni Association.

Of Italian origin Mariangela graduated from the MoT program in 2008. She holds a MSc in Civil Engineering and is currently employed as Project Manager.

She is enthusiast of being part of the team and committed to promote diversified activities to revive the MoT AA and meet all Moties’ expectations.

Of Belgian nationality. Ann holds a PhD in Physics from the Vrije Universiteit Brussels, Belgium. She graduated from the MoT program in 2008. Over the last 12 years she worked as a research engineer and project manager in several large projects with international exposure. She believes the strength of the MoT program is the people. Therefore she wants to build a solid MoT Alumni Association, providing networking opportunities, a knowledge exchange forum, and continuing education.

Of Greek & American origin Stefanos is a mechanical engineer, and completed the MoT program in 2008. He has previous experience from student organizations from his position as Vice President for the American Association of Mechanical Engineers at Northeastern University. He is highly motivated and intends to really spark the interest of the MoT Alumni Association.

A Swiss national of Australian origin, David is a seasoned professional with 25 years of international industrial experience. With an electrical engineering degree in hand, and an entrepreneurial mind-set in head, David crossed the world to establish his own start-up in Switzerland in the early 1990s. The success of this venture was based on technical innovation & quality, and a deep understanding of its EMEI and Asian markets.

As a means to validate and complement his acquired business experience, David completed the MoT program in 2010. Today he is continuing the MoT spirit, and his passion, by helping to create links between young technical companies, resources and markets.

Beside his electrical engineering background and his scientific path, Bijan has a highly business-oriented and entrepreneurial mindset. After completing the Executive MBA in Management of Technology in 2010 and launching a consulting company, he is now working in the life science industry. He has recently chosen to get involved in the Alumni association to contribute to the networking and the social life of the members.
